Yesterday, Alan participated in Woodstick 2004, a world-record breaking event to raise money for the fight against Polio. The show started with Alan leading the over 500 assembled drummers in 'Imagine' (Alan played the same Ludwig kit that he used on the album). Later, the drummers were joined by The Ventures, who then played "Walk, Don't Run', 'Wipe Out', and 'Pipeline.' Joining Alan on the celebrity stage were Michael Derosier, Liberty DeVito, Leon Taylor, Scott Rockefield, and Reek "Reek Will Rock You!" Havok, to name but a few.

Alan was the first drummer to track for a new project under development by Vulcan, the parent company for EMP. Drumcore is a collection of drum loops from a variety of world-class drummers. The product is geared towards producers and composers who are looking for just the right sound for their project, but may not have access to a live musician.

On February 16TH, Alan is set to participate in WoodStick 2004, which hopes to set a new Guiness World Record for the most simultaneous drummers with over a thousand percussionists (last year's event set the new record at 300). For more information, or to register, visit Donn Bennett's Drum Shop.

There are a lot of new pictures in the gallery—check 'em out!
