In Memory of Kathy South
Kathy South, who, along with her SpiritSister, Anne Corbin, created the artwork that graces the front page of this site, passed away on March 31, 2002, after a long illness. Kathy was an incredible artist, both in fine art and graphics. Her true understanding of all things spiritual showed in every piece of art she created. She is loved greatly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There will be a memorial sevice for Kathy on April 14 at 10:30 a.m. (pst) at Seacliff Beach, Aptos, CA. Kathy asked that "I'll Find My Way Home" by Jon and Vangelis be sung. All are welcome to join the celebration and share a song or story about Kathy. Those who wish to attend are requested to not smoke tobacco the day of the service, as a tribute to Kathy. If you do not live close enough to get to the service, please feel free to email Anne Corbin, with any story or message that you may want read at the service. She will print them and will read them all. Also, if you'd like, please take a moment to send Kathy a message of farewell at the time we are all gathered at the beach. If you would like to do something, please consider sending a donation to one of the following in Kathy's name: |
